To highlight the importance of connectivity and technology on our daily lives, we partenerd with Oscar-nomiated filmmaker (and my personal idol), Werner Herzog, to create Lo and Behold; Reveries of the Connected World.
This full-length documentary chronicles the virtual world from its origins to its outermost reachers, exploring how digital connectivity shapes our relationships, society, and future.
From inception to production, my partner and I were able to run this project completely autonomously, working closely with Werner and his team to select each subject featured on the film, and traveling the entire country together.
One of the most surreal moments? I had the chance to explain what a meme was to Werner Herzog—using a Werner Herzog meme.
And to top it all off, our film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and has a 92% Rotten Tomato score.
